There was no direct recruitment of Home Guards in Haryana after November 2016. In the Home Guard Department, there was no permanent recruitment after 1990 on the vacant posts of permanent employees. The department has also sent a demand to the government to create 10000 new posts of home guards according to the population. The government has approved the deployment of 15,000 home guards in hospitals, the process of deploying them will start soon. At present there are 12000 Home Guards working in Haryana. As per Haryana Police Home Guard notification, the age limit is 18-35 years for general, OBC 3 years, SC, ST 5 year’s age relaxation available for Haryana Police jobs.
Educational Eligibility
