| Candidates will be able to appear in Urdu/Santali/Bangla/Mundari (Munda)/Ho/Kharia/Kudukh (Uraon)/Kurmali/Khortha/Nagpuri/Panchparganiya/Odia on the basis of their choice of any one language. In this examination, one hundred (100) multiple choice answer based questions will be asked in the concerned language. |

| (1) The minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I (Language Knowledge) examination will be 30 percent. Candidates obtaining less than the minimum qualifying marks will be considered unsuccessful/ineligible for selection for appointment. Marks obtained will not be added for merit determination. |
| (2) The minimum qualifying marks in paper-2 regional/tribal language knowledge and paper-3 general knowledge test will be 30 percent. |
| (3) The merit list will be made on the basis of total marks by adding the marks obtained in Paper-2 and Paper-3 of the candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks of 30 percent or more in Paper-1, Paper-02 and Paper-03 examination. Will be determined. |
| (4) The duration of the examination of each paper shall be of two hours. |

(a) General Studies:- The objective of the questions in this will be to test the candidate’s general knowledge of the environment around him and his ability in relation to their application in the society. Knowledge of current events and day-to-day happenings with minute observation and scientific approach to such matters as is expected of an educated person. In this, as many questions as possible can be asked especially in relation to the country of India and the state of Jharkhand.
