Uttarakhand Home Guard Salary News Updates
As of 25 Nov 2019, they are getting honorarium at the rate of Rs 450 per day. According to this, Rs 13500 per month is being paid in lieu of working on every working day, which is likely to be Rs 18 thousand after the government takes a decision. The Finance Department has given its consent to give the same minimum salary as police constables to 6500 home guards posted in Uttarakhand. They can be given a minimum honorarium of Rs 18 thousand per month.
Dec 7, 2024: on 9k ft on foundation day” M Dhami announced an additional daily allowance of Rs 200 for Home Guard volunteers deployed at altitudes above 9,000 ft, bringing their compensation on par with police and SDRF personnel in similar conditions. Additionally, trained Home Guards working with SDRF teams will receive a daily allowance of Rs 100.
