व्यक्ति ने न्यूनतम 10 वर्षों तक विधि व्यवसाय किया हो, या अनुसूचित जातियों / अनुसूचित जनजातियों और अन्य पिछड़े वर्गों से सम्वन्धित व्यक्ति ने न्यूनतम सात वर्षो तक विधि व्यवसाय किया हो, या महिला जिसने विधि व्यवसायी के रूप में न्यूनतम सात वर्षो तक विधि व्यवसाय किया हो, या दिव्यांगजन अधिकार अधिनियम, 2016 (2016 का 49) की धरा 2 के खंड (द) में यथा परिभाषित बेंचमार्क अक्षमता वाला कोई व्यक्ति जो कम से कम सात वर्ष से विधि व्यवसायी के रूप में व्यवसाय कर रहा हो, या वह न्यूनतम दस वर्षो तक – न्यायिक सेवा का सदस्य रहा हो, या अधिवक्ता के रूप में नामांकन के पश्चात विधि की विशेष जानकारी रखने वाले केंद्रीय सरकार या राज्य सरकार के अधीन पद धारित किया हो, या न्यायाधीश महाअधिवक्ता के विभाग में या आयुध बलो के विधिक विभाग में पद धारित किया हो।
