Physical and Medical Standards (BRO):
- Physical Efficiency Test: Conducted at GREF Centre or Recruitment Centre as per Schedule-I.
- Physical Standards: Region-wise standards as per Schedule-II.
- Medical Standards: Candidates must be free from constitutional/acquired disabilities. Visual acuity: 6/12 each eye or 6/6 (right), 6/24 (left); corrective spectacles permitted. Detailed medical examination by Medical Board (Schedule-III).
- Temporary Unfit: Candidates can appeal within 60 days for medical reasons or re-measure physical standards on the same day. Induction must be completed within 6 months.
- Permanent Unfit: No appeal for height-related rejections; other cases appealable within 2 months.
