The minimum educational qualification for Oav.edu.in recruitment 2023 is as mentioned below, however, candidates with higher education also eligible for apply for Teacher vacancy but age limit is mandatory.

   3. TGT (Social Studies):

      One must have a subject in B.A in any 01 of the following 04 subjects: History, Geography, Pol. Sc. & Economics. In addition he should have 01 more subject out of the following 08 subjects: History, Geography, Economics, Pol. Sc., Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Indian Geography, Landmark in Indian History as Honours/elective/ pass.

   4. TGT (Maths):

      Bachelor Degree in Science with at least 200 marks in Math as a Subject with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics.

      OR

      B.Tech/B.E Degree with 200 marks in Math and any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics.

   5. TGT (Science):

      Bachelor Degree in Science having any three subjects out of the following i.e. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Technology and Life- Science.

2. Proficiency in teaching both in Odia and English medium.
3. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application

1. 1. 1. 1. Physical Education Teacher (PET) (Initial Appointee)

            The initial appointee PETs will be covered under Notification No. 1147/ Gen. Dt. 17.01.2014 read with Notification No.28626/ Gen. Dt. 27.10.2023 of General Administration Department, Odisha.

            1. Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education i.e. B.P.Ed./ M.P.Ed. (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a recognized University/Institution.
            2. Proficiency in teaching both in Odia and English medium.
            3. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application

         2. Librarian (Initial Appointee)

            The initial appointee Librarian will be covered under Notification No. 1147/ Gen. Dt. 17.01.2014 read with Notification No.28626/ Gen. Dt. 27.10.2023 of General Administration Department, Odisha.

            1. Essential :
               1. Bachelor degree in Library Science OR Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution
               2. Working knowledge in Odia & English Desirable: Knowledge of Computer applications

         3. Computer Teacher (Initial Appointee)

            The initial appointee Computer Teachers will be covered under Notification No. 1147/ Gen. Dt. 17.01.2014 read with Notification No.28626/ Gen. Dt. 27.10.2023 of General Administration Department, Odisha and Letter No. 22509/ SME Dated 22.11.2023.

            1. B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science or I.T./MCA/M.Sc. I.T/ M.Sc. Computer Science from a recognized University.OR
            2. ‘B’ Level of DOEACC / NIELIT in Computer Science from a recognized University.OR
            3. B.C.A/B.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized University.
            4. Competence to teach through English & Odia medium.

      2. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):

         1. Two years Integrated post Graduate Course with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/ SEBC candidates) in any of the following subjects;ORMaster Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/ SEBC/PH candidates) in any of the following subjects;
            1. PGT (English)- English
            2. PGT (Math) – Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
            3. PGT (Physics)-Physics/ Electronics/ Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
            4. PGT (Chemistry) – Chemistry/ Bio. Chemistry
            5. PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio Science/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Bio-Technology/Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation Level.
               

               AND

               Bachelor Degree in Education (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.

            6. PGT (Commerce)- Essential:

               1. Master Degree in Commerce from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/SEBC candidates). However, the holder of degree in M.Com. in Applied / Business Economics shall not be eligible.
                  

                  AND

                  Bachelor Degree in Education (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.

               2. Proficiency in teaching in Odia and English medium.
               3. Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.

            7. PGT(Economics)- Essential:

               1. Master Degree in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates).AndBachelor Degree in Education (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.
               2. Proficiency in teaching in Odia and English medium.
               3. Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
                  

                  Note: Candidates having Special B.Ed or D.Ed are not eligible for the post of PGTs.

            8. PGT Computer Science Essential:

1. At least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/SEBC candidates) in any of the following:B.E. or B.Tech (Computer Science/ IT) from a recognized UniversityORB.E. or B.Tech (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from recognized University.

   OR

   M.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology)/ MCA from a recognized University.

   OR

   “B” Level from DOEACC/ NIELIT and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University.

   OR

   “C” Level from DOEACC/ NIELIT and Graduation from a recognized University.
