Then a new window open with following screen, enter your UAN Number & captcha to check pf transfer & withdrawal status.

it helps to closing pf accounts by transferring existing one rather than withdrawing separately.
it also helps improve transference accountability tp avoid misuse of epfo scheme.
uan portal login registration
Know UAN Number status & generate
UAN allotment by aadhaar this is very simple and fast rather than uan status & activation.
visit uan member portal, click on aadhar based uan allotment, enter your aadhar number to authorize epfo with aadhar date with a OTP to aadhar linked mobile number.
then a 12 digits (Universal account Number) UAn number generates kindly note and proceed for UAN Activation.
If you already know your UAN by employer, then you should activate it online. for this same approach below.
to check it activation status & knowing existing UAN, on uan member portal, click on know Your UAN and enter your PF/PAN/UID number and your name and mobile details to authorize to check the status.

then authorize Your Mobile to activate UAN next step is Set a password to login to the UAn portal.
